ambitious SMEs. We direct and produce film quality, video
productions, that help you explain to customers what a
product does or how a service works.
We help you sell more and position your brand better
through the visual power of film.
Where were you before ActionCOACH?
Before coaching our business was run more like a hobby rather than a company. We started Open House Pictures straight after university without having an understanding of business. We had no sales or marketing strategy, no financial plans, and our daily plans were nonexistent and were simply running the business as two mates enjoying working in film.
Why engage in ActionCOACH?
We engaged with Actioncoach as we wanted to change, we knew we couldn’t run a successful business which is one of the reasons we decided to sign up. The decision to sign up came when we had a taster session with Jon who solved one of our issues almost immediately which was to do with managing our workflow and calendar. It was something we were struggling with since day one and within 30 mins it was solved. We still use those techniques to this day, so it was no brainer to sign up fully with action coach sheffield.

Results achieved
We have achieved so much since signing up with action coach sheffield, not only have we doubled our turnover year on year but we have also doubled our staff since we started. We now have a clear direction of who we are and what our position is in the market, something that we lacked before which means we have the confidence to grow.
One piece of advice for anyone looking at taking on a coach
Before we signed up we were quite skeptical about coaching, it’s something that we didn’t really consider but after seeing how far we have come in terms of not only business development but also personal development then it would be the last thing we would drop as a business. It’s been a game changer for us, so the one piece of advice that I would give is to just try it out, even if it’s only for 3 months you won’t regret it.
