Tell us a little bit about your business
Kia Marketing provides telemarketing, Social media marketing and VA services to the professional services sector in the UK and USA. We started in 2019 as a telemarketing firm and have increased our offering since 2021.
Where were you before
I was working 20 hour days, taking very little home (mentally and financially!)I was actually paying my team far more than I was myself. I always felt if i just did more hours eventually it would work, but over time it just wasn’t working that way. By the time we engaged with ActionCOACH I just felt lost & stressed and was thinking, “Maybe running my own business wasn’t meant to be”.
Why engage with ActionCOACH?:
I heard through someone else about ActionCOACH & the benefits that they had got from it, it sounded a bit too good to be true. I was at a place where I needed to do something different or just to give it up.
Time being coached
Started coaching in September 2020, so coming up to 3 years.
What results have you achieved?
Now I work no more than 6 hours a day, I’m confident about what I’m doing and the decisions I’m making. I believe I’ve got the knowledge to run multiple businesses simultaneously and it does not mean me working more hours. The focus has changed since day one, to start with I just needed to be making some more money. Within the first 6 months we had doubled our turnover and at that point it became less about panicking and more about focusing on what was really important, my time. I wanted to be more present at home, so it’s been really tailored for me. Now we have a fully functioning recruitment system that finds the right people and we have a training and mentoring programme to keep our team engaged, involved and excited. The last two years me and my family have taken December off and spent Christmas in some stunning places around the world. Over the past 3 years we have grown by more than 500% in turnover, profits have done the same. Our team has gone from 3 to 12.
My husband got poorly in 2022 and fortunately I was in a position to allow him to retire from work, this just wouldn’t have been possible without ActionCOACH. It really has been a life saver & changer for me.
One piece of advice
It will be the best decision you’ve ever made. It won’t change your business, it will change your life.
