Silk Email is an outsource marketing provider that specializes in email marketing for B2C companies. A core focus for us is to drive more sales through existing customer bases. We work globally with brands from around the world.
Where were you before ActionCOACH?
It was just me and a freelancer when I reached out to Jon. We were at around £120,000 per year turnover. I really wanted to scale it and make the business more professional and to create a ‘proper’ business that didn’t just revolve around me.
Why engage with ActionCOACH?:
I wanted to work with someone to help me create a business. Lots of people make the mistake of bringing someone in when something goes wrong, I didn’t want to do that. I wanted to get ahead of the game and get someone in my corner that knows what they’re doing to help build the foundation so we could scale it.
What results have you achieved?
My business is incomparable to where it was back then. I was working 12 + hours a days, now it’s much more streamlined. I take holidays, take days off and it doesn’t have a negative impact on the business. We’ve seen X5 growth in revenue and profit. It’s gone from me being in control of everything, like a bit of a control freak, to allowing people to take control of their areas of the business, that was a real key turning point for me. I knew I had departments that were run by professionals that in most cases, were run better than I could even imagine! One piece of advice (for anyone looking at taking on a coach)
The accountability is a big part of it, the push, the feeling of being part of something that’s moving quicker. So if that’s what you want, do it.
